PAS System

Louis,

Can you briefly describe your PAS system? I would like to know if it is a similar system to my electric bike, which I really enjoy.

My electric bike came with a thumb throttle. I took it off the handle bar later because there was no need for me to decide how much assistance I need from the motor. I leave the decision totally to the controller. All I need is pedaling and changing gears to suit my cadence. There is a surge of current after I pedal hard to move the bike a little bit distance and then I gradually gain the speed with motor's assistance until I hit the sweet spot of about 8~9 mph. I feel very bionic. The feeling is incredible. I pedal all the time and can easily accelerate to 15 ~ 16 mph on level roads. The motor assistance gradually disappears (seamlessly) as my speed goes up. When I reach 16 mph, there is no assistance any more. That is how my PAS system works. As far as I know, the PAS system of Golden Motor is not like this. What about yours?

The other question: Since the US dealer (the worldwide electric bike) does not sell 24 V motor, if I want to buy one, where can I buy? Thanks.

The PAS we use is simple 1:1 system, if you donot use the throttle but only the bike pedals the sensor will detect it and activate the motor to drive the bike automatically.

Yes by our US dealer they donot stock any 24V kits and batteries, if customers need they could buy from us directly.

Thanks.
